i came across this website in internet.I am really interested in becoming the member of this group, i did see the membership form , but not sure how to make the payment.Sir i also need one more help from you before that i actually would like to give you more details about ourselves, we are currently living in Ringwood from past 2 years before that we lived in Ballarat for about 1 year.We are basically from Bangalore.Myself software Enginner currently working with Officeworks Support as Web Developer and my husband is a Doctor working in Maroondah Hospital ED and we have twin boys of 16 months old.

My mother is here and she wants to return to Bangalore so i have booked the tickets on November 24th malaysian airlines but shes travelling alone.
So i need a help from you sir,if you can find anyone from the sangha or anyone who u know who is travelling to bangalore on tht date so that they can accompany my mother.Its just tht shes not comfortable in English and i’m jsut worried abt her travel.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A youth from Navunda near here has been awarded the capital punishment by a Saudi Arabian court for allegedly transporting narcotic drugs, recently.

Abdul Majeed (27), who has been convicted by the court recently, was working in Saudi Arabia as a driver since 2002. Majeed was arrested by the Saudi Police for carrying two kilograms of brown sugar on January 14, 2004. It is said that Saleem Sheikh Mastan, a friend of Majeed asked him to collect a bag from one Hamza Abubakker at Dammam Airport.

Accordingly, Majeed went and collected the bag from Abubakker. However, he was caught by the police while he was returning to Mastan’s place.

Earlier, the Shariat Court in Dammam had awarded eight years’ imprisonment and 800 lashes to Majeed. The court had pronounced death sentence to two others in connection with the incident. Meanwhile, another accused Nasiruddin was sentenced for five years’ imprisonment and 500 lashes in the case. However, the same court has now changed the verdict of Majeed into capital punishment after four years.

Those two convicts, who were awarded capital punishment in the case, had appealed for a review of the case in the upper court. Following this, the court bifurcated the case and started the review. After the review, the court modified the verdict as 15 years’ imprisonment as well as Penalty of 50,000 Riyal for Nasiruddin and awarded death sentence to Majeed.

Majeed and two others, who filed mercy petitions, are now counting their days in the Al-Faisaliya Jail in Dammam.

Family of Majeed in Navunda strongly suspect that Majeed might have been made a scapegoat in the episode. They suspect that Majeed, who did not know Arabic, might have been cheated by others.

Majeed belongs to a respected family in Navunda. His grandfather and uncle were all popular in political and social fields. Mother Beekunhi asserts that her son can never do such a crime. Father, who is a deaf by birth, still waits hopefully for his son’s return. The couple have four children including three sons and a daughter. Majeed’s relatives are trying their best through political leaders for the approval of his mercy petition.

CONGRATULATIONS TO GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA FOR SPECTACULAR IMPROVEMENT IN BANGALORE.

The creation of blog indeed a great initiative which will augment interaction with NRI’s who are very much interested in India’s growth in general and of Bangalore in particular which is the focus of all NRI’s and Foreign nationals. NRI’s will find it quite close to any developed country.

Recently I visited B’lore for about 3 weeks and amazed at the developments. The International Airport with fantastic greenery is now way less than any best International Airport. Besides there is significant metamorphosis in infrastructure facilities. The A/C Volve Bus , good roads, several Super markets, Malls would certainly make B’lore a paradise to live.

However there are several areas that needs to be improved in order to make B’lore the best Metro in the World:

1. There is urgent requirement to improve Roads.
2. Sewerage and drainage needs to be improved. All open drainage needs to be closed.
3. Pedestrian walking facilities to be made in every road.
4. Adequate public toilets to be constructed with proper maintenance .
5. Strict action against like using public place for urination and littering as done in other western countries to be implemented on priority. This can be done only after public toilet facilities are introduced.
6. In foreign countries like China, Malaysia etc for outskirts toll is introduced and best roads are made. This can be done in B’lore also.
7. All illegal constructions , encroachments should be pulled down and roads space should be adequate to take care of traffic.
8. Power cut should be avoided.
9. Separate lane for 2 and 3 wheelers suggested.
10. Pollution should be controlled. Vehicle passing with fee once a year should be made compulsory. This will add revenue and also will reduce pollution.

11. Rename many places which are named as Halli meaning village. B’lore is no more village now.

1. All Interior places like Mangalore, Udupi etc the roards are not in good condition. Adequate steps may be taken to improve the same.

If the aforesaid measures are taken Bengaluru will be the preferred destination in the world and can gain a unique place in the country and we will be the proud Kannadiga’s .

Hope you will give serious considerations to various suggestions given above.

With all due respect to Mr Chief Minster, I would like to say, “Execution has failed on all front”. Guess, no dearth for funds but officials have no interest in betterment of the common people.
I can go on listing dozens of most obvious slackness in all areas. Anyway I will speakout some time later if it makes any difference.
